Apartment design project in minimalistic style

A minimalist-style apartment design project.

Our new minimalist-style apartment design project. Minimalism is a style in design that is characterized by the conciseness of expressive means, simplicity, accuracy and clarity of composition. Discarding classic techniques and traditional art materials, minimalists use industrial and natural materials of simple geometric shapes, neutral colors (black, gray) and small volumes.

Minimalist interior features:

1) Spatial freedom: a small amount of furniture and accessories.
2) Space zoning, multi-level lighting.
3) Half-tone color palette of light, many white, graphically accented with black or gray. The palette is complemented by the natural tones of wood, brick, metal, glass glitter.
4) Simple natural finishing materials, often unprocessed, with rough textures: brick, concrete, wood, or plaster.
5) Simple shapes and lines, virtually none decor on windows and walls.
6) Geometry of figures: circle, rectangle, straight, can be soft bending (no spirals).
7) Large windows that saturate the space with light.

Minimalist style furniture.

They have many flat facades. No milling of the facades is allowed here, only a flat surface. Plastic is used to decorate the facades, imitating natural wood or fancy woodwork, as well as monochrome colors. High gloss facades painted with acrylic or acrylic are also used. More expensive furniture uses natural wood, polished under glossy lacquer or with textured surface. Often bronze and graphite mirrors can be seen on cabinets and facades. Occasionally, artificial stone countertops are found in minimalist interiors. The minimalist style upholstered furniture also has simple geometric shapes.

Lighting.

In minimalist rooms, there are large windows for daylight access. This style is characterized by vertical and horizontal blinds or shutters. Light fixtures with screens made of pure cotton are often used. A hidden ceiling light from neon and halogen lamps is also advisable.

Walls in minimalist interior.

have a monochromatic color scheme, but no more than two to three color shades per room. Also sometimes used are two contrasting colors. For decoration of walls monotonous wall-paper, as an option with a fuzzy pattern, a relief surface is suitable. Also applied textured plaster, wallpaper for painting. The minimalist interiors make wall panels made of natural or artificial materials such as stainless steel, polished and textured wood, artificial and natural stone.

Style transformation.

Recently, cold white minimalism has gone out of style, and the so-called “environmental minimalism” is now very popular – natural materials, muted autumn colors, rough furniture.

Minimalistic Flat Design Project – Chips & Features

In designing this apartment design project, we combined a minimalist interior with functionalism when the feature sets the shape. This solution will be a shot in the top ten for clients who love the dark shades of simple shapes when everything is in place. We used the original door-to-door swing, which goes full height in frosted glass in black. It is through them that additional light enters the corridor area. The blue tile in the bath and shower helps to relax and gives a refreshing effect. Thanks to the wooden bars, we have separated the kitchen area from the hallway. In this project we managed to achieve all the goals set by the customer. We made this cozy family nest.
