Our new project is the design of an apartment in the style of minimalism with loft elements.

The main features of minimalism in the interior are:

Emptiness. The design of the house in the style of minimalism is impossible without empty space. However, it should be thought out and organized in such a way that the room does not create the effect of neglect or confusion. If you perfectly realize the interior in the style of minimalism, you will get a comfortable, harmonious, and wonderful atmosphere for relaxation, which is most felt in the living room.

Light. The design of the apartment in minimalist styles involves large empty spaces, so the light in the room plays a key role. Thoughtful lighting can emphasize the laconic beauty of the plane or the protrusion of architecture, highlight a strict vase or abstract sculpture on a light wall. In the bedroom, the center of the composition is often a bed.

Natural textures. Interior design in the style of minimalism does not accept the decor in its classical sense. Accents in the room are created with the help of textured materials: uneven plaster, brickwork, fabrics, patinated metal, various wooden details.

The only color scheme. The design of the apartment in the style of minimalism often uses "classic" colors and shades, such as: beige, white, natural wood colors, unpainted linen, variations of khaki and ocher, as well as black. For variety, designers advise to use bright accents and accessories or decorate the walls with colored plaster.

Designer furniture. Furniture in minimalism not only attracts attention with its restrained beauty and sophistication, but is also extremely functional. They perfectly complement the overall design of the rooms. When working in a minimalist style should be restrained to genuine leather and plain fabric. To get rid of unnecessary things, household utensils and clothes are hidden behind the flat facades of cabinet furniture.

We used a loft style in the kitchen design. It often harmoniously combines old (brick walls, stairs, pipes, uncovered ventilation systems, factory fixtures) and modern (new equipment, metal, mirrors) in one interior. The basis of the room in the loft style consists of details: the furniture is as simple and functional, the color is mostly cool shades, large windows, almost no decor. Interestingly, what is considered a disadvantage in other styles - various brick ledges, plastered walls, wooden floors, are the highlights of the loft.

We managed to hide the gas pipe in the upper cabinets of the kitchen, and in a rack that looks like decorative wooden panels, we arranged a place to store all sorts of things; in the office in the area of the desktop the walls are painted with graphite paint, in the bedroom you can see the imitation of concrete panels, and in the design of the bathrooms we played on the contrast of light and dark in combination with wood.
