This project of a cottage designed and implemented by us is a good example of modern minimalist architecture.
The cottage is located on the highest point of the terrain, thanks to which it has a beautiful view from the entire site. Landscape design plays a big role in the perception of architecture in the environment, which is why we paid a lot of attention to the placement of the house and the creation of a minimalist space around it.
The peculiarity of this house is its structural scheme - a wooden frame. This is a fairly widely used technology in the world, but frame construction is not very common in Ukraine. The cottage has a cantilevered (protruding) part resting on columns. The strength and reliability of the building has been specially calculated by the design engineers of our company.
On the first floor, at the entrance, there is a corridor in which there is a wardrobe for outerwear. From it, we can immediately get into a small bathroom, as well as into the hall, which serves as a rest area. Also on the first floor there is a pantry and a large workshop, which have separate entrances from the street. Outside, under the protruding part of the house, there is a place for two cars.
On the second floor, a through kitchen-living room with a fireplace is designed, from the windows of which there is a wonderful view of the surrounding terrain - hills and forest on both sides of the plot. On this floor there is also a large bathroom with a bathtub and a bedroom with a wardrobe.
The third floor is a spacious nursery with its own bathroom.
In the architecture of the building, two massive cubic volumes are clearly visible - a horizontal and a vertical cube, decorated with dark-colored wood. The connecting volume between these two parts is decorated with light beige clinker. The large panoramic window in the living room, to which beveled planes go from all sides, is a great feature of the project and immediately attracts attention.
The non-standard solutions used in this building have become a guarantee of satisfied customers, as well as us as designers.
