Our new project of apartment design in a historic house, made in the Scandinavian style, which is one of the most popular in our time, the interiors of which can be found around the world, from Portugal to Chile. But it is most in demand, of course, in countries with northern climates. The recipe for its success lies in an ingenious combination of national and international. The aesthetics of the style stems not only from the culture and history of the Scandinavian countries, but also from the peculiarities of the climatic zone and geographical location. In this project, we also used materials typical of Scandinavia, including wood.
The global trend towards environmental friendliness, cleanliness, natural shapes and bright spacious rooms has brought this style to the top of customer tastes. It makes no sense to disassemble Scandi into details, it is much more important to understand its essence. It is good because it does not have current laws that designers must obey. In Skanda, every designer feels like a free artist who creates a new masterpiece with confident and bright strokes. The framework of this style is limited only by the imagination of the designer. Thanks to this, Scandi gets fresh and unique qualities.
When developing this apartment design project, we paid special attention to the interiors, because it is important to remember that in this style, the selection of materials and furniture is a long and arduous work. We installed basic furniture for several months, and then added other accessories to them. Probably this approach is due to a certain eclectic style, which mixes vintage furniture of the early and mid twentieth century. And that is why our apartment design project in a historic building includes both modern design items and things that were allegedly found in the attic. Scandinavian style allows you to assemble all these various elements of the puzzle into one. He connects all these things together with a single idea, color scheme and textures, and missing parts can be replaced by natural forms - a stump instead of a bedside table, a branch as a hanger or sconce, a cramp covered with a glass top instead of a coffee table.
This project of our apartment design is not in vain under the sign of the dominance of white. It combines all parts of the interior into one whole, hides some contradictions, and most importantly - repeatedly reflects the sun's rays, filling the room with light. The main highlight of this project was the idea of combining modern design with authentic details of the XIX century. Our apartment design project embodies all the best that is in the modern Scandinavian style, without neglecting the unique details of the XIX century, which were characteristic of this house before the reconstruction. It is nice to note that in this interior we managed to achieve the effect of closeness to nature, because it is so lacking in modern cities. And most importantly. This apartment is just very comfortable to live)
