Our next country house design project is a combination of two styles: minimalist and Scandinavian. The life of a big city requires constant concentration and dedication from everyone. This trend contributes to the spread in the interior design style of minimalism, very simple, with concise forms and structures. With its help, you can achieve the effect of increasing the space and get rid of the crowds and tightness that often haunt us in typical apartment boxes. To some it will seem boring, and for people with a sense of proportion who can not tolerate anything extra - ideal. For most supporters of minimalism - this is the only chance to get rid of everything unnecessary and achieve mental balance.
Many spears are broken for this style, but most importantly, it leaves no one indifferent. Getting rid of gloomy and awkward walls, furniture and unnecessary decor is an old dream of many of us. The main features of the minimalist style are restraint and rigor in the design. This is achieved through the use of functional interior items, geometric shapes and a combination of two basic colors. When working in this style, perhaps the most important is a reasonable distribution of space.
Scandi is one of the most popular nowadays. Interiors in it can be found all over the world, from Australia to Argentina. But it is most common in countries with northern climates. The recipe for its success lies in the ingenious combination of national and international. The aesthetics of the style stems not only from the culture and history of the Scandinavian countries, but also from the peculiarities of the climatic zone and geographical location. The global trend towards environmental friendliness, cleanliness, natural shapes and bright spacious rooms brought this style to the top. It makes no sense to disassemble Scandi into details, it is much more important to understand its essence. It is good because it does not have current laws that must be obeyed by interior designers. In the Scandinavian style, every designer feels like a free artist. Scandi's framework is limited only by the designer's imagination. Therefore, this style never becomes obsolete.
In developing this country house design project, we used natural materials in its decoration: wood (staircase cladding, bars in the vestibule), stone (kitchen apron), as well as decorative plasters. Also one of the materials was microcement, which was used in the panels in the living room and toilet on the ground floor.
